Genius Preston. Hard to type, but surprisingly easy to read. Sounds as if your Screwball film was as bad as my Screwball film. Damn shame.

yeah it was hard to understand, but wouldnt go as far as to say that the movie wasn't good. its just different and old compared to current movies. comedy was weird back then.

I found his Girl Friday to be a great screwball comedie. I thought the fast paced dialogue was very funny and that it made the movie more intense. It was hard to understand some of the time and it did detract from the overall plot of the movie.

I heard they actually wrote the script this exact same way and then had the actors try to read it as fast and fluently as possible...

Makes sense doesn't it? I think your version achieved the same amount of laughs as well. It was funny at first, but after awhile it just get's annoying to read.
